Jessica and Kenan // engagement // Happy Tuesday

My big sister as I had mentioned in my previous post is getting married to her man.

We went out Sunday afternoon to take a walk and hang out, ended up doing a few impromptu engagement shots because it was in such a pretty area we I couldn't resist.
Aren't they just the cutest? They met at our youth group and we kinda knew them prior when we went to the same VBS as kids although Kenan was always in my class. There is little bit of an age ~~yes~~ He would have to ask my dad first.;) Fast forward to 30 days from now they will be tying the knot. I will be there as the maid of honor standing up with my sister as she says her vows.
difference (hes younger) so my sister didn't even think of him for herself although he did find him to be a nice young man. My sister and I started hang out with His older sisters a lot and we would all go to monthly dances it was yet one of these dances that he asked her out. I can say with a smile that she said
Bittersweet. Although I can't say that I am not happy to finally have my very own room after almost 21yrs!!:)

Finding Fall & Love

I am really dropping the ball here on the blog,but I am officially home with no set plans on leaving for a long while,so more posting and a whole lot of goodness should be hitting His Brunette more often.

Life update: I started a new full time job and I am the Maid of Honor for my older sisters wedding that is less then a month away.

Planning a clean fun and meaningful bachlorette party might be a post coming in the future.

I also need to work on a video for pre-ceremony and plan poses for the wedding.

As you can read a lot going on and even though its mid October fall isn't officially here in Alabama. :(

So I happily flew to where fall was in full swing.

At the beginning of summer a friend of mine asked if I could shoot with her at her brothers wedding up near Boston,MA, she never shot a wedding before and could use the help!

Any chance to be up north this time of I year I will take and I did.

So I spent a week in the New England area enjoying fall and taste of freshly picked apples.

(that is the south's biggest down fall...no apple orchards,fresh cider, and fall is late or just non existent in the heart of dixie!)

Miss to Mrs.

I had the honor of taking some pictures of a dear friend and her bridesmaids this past June.
I was very happy with the results and wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

Allison is a very classy, but vintage bride and had these beautiful lace loves from her great mother that brought them with her from Italy.

This bridesmaid and sister of the bride is also a dear friend and growing up every one would say how much we looked alike and at the reception we must still look alike cause I was getting asked how I was related to the family and how much I looked like bridesmaid mikaela! ;)
