bonfire night inspiration

 
                         My sister and I are having a little get together /bonfire night with some friends in which I have been wanting to do all summer. Set up a bonfire. Make S'mores. Sing and play songs. With lots of laughter and having good ole conversations with friends long into the night. Get all cozy with hoodies and blankets. Ah, sweet bliss. We went on pinterest for inspiration and ideas just for fun and came across some fun stuff that's to neat not to share and.....inspirational. :) Enjoy!

And this last one because I've always wanted to set up a projector outside one fine summer night as the fire dies away you watch a movie snuggled in blankets. :)

 

 

What is one of you favorite summer activities that you love to do?

I am a difference maker

       I've started working on a little project with the help of a friend on teens being difference makers. Its something that even though I'm working on making a video o inspire people I wanted to say something here on my blog too.

First walking the Christian walk isn't easy. We are looked down on for our faith to the point we are to scared to talk about our faith to unbelievers and then at church we try to look holier then next person and act like we are just peachy and right with Christ. But you know being broken and admitting that, admitting you struggle. That makes a difference to people that is powerful and impactful.
                And as Christians I know I feel like at least, that I am not doing enough, that I am not making a difference. I used to have it in my head that to make a difference for Christ I have to go to a foreign country and make this huge impact for Christ. I was worried I wasn't being a 'serious' Christian. That I wasn't a Christian willing to make sacrifices and go all out to save the people I claim to love..etc. Now I do have a heart for missions and to serve, but with new purpose and as I am not serving now in the way I would like I can make a difference I can be a difference maker.

                                            And you know what. I am, You are A difference maker.
Whether its blessing or inspiring people with music from my violin or my photography,helping out around the house, being an encouragement and doing little things for my siblings, or smiling at someone. I am and You can/are a difference maker go make a difference.

                  I had the honor of taking some pictures of a dear friend and her bridesmaids this past June.
                         I was very happy with the results and wanted to share some of my favorites with you.

               Allison is a very classy, but vintage bride and had these beautiful lace loves from her great mother that brought them with her from Italy.

                This bridesmaid and sister of the bride is also a dear friend and growing up every one would say how much we looked alike and at the reception we must still look alike cause I was getting asked how I was related to the family and how much I looked like bridesmaid mikaela! ;)
